some psychopaths will go out of their way to completely destroy your life, if you let them. not because they don't respect you, but because they respect you too much. it's a fucked up relationship....they will test you so relentlessly that you will wish you had never been born, but they only do it because they love you, and they see that you have more potential than most other people. this includes basement sex slave victims, and also certain people in psych wards who have been victimized by narcissists and other miscreants.

It's pretty much a documented fact that psychopaths and sociopaths only love and respect themselves. They see everybody else as a minion at best, or a target at worst.

good album, and nice thoughts op. my hobby is rescuing those people and showing them a better way. a few have rebelled after i saved them. but hopefully they find their way now. the tools are theirs. my super power is never giving up.

I don't think this is necessarily true. They don't experience emotions the way "normal" people do, but they are capable of liking or even "loving" people in their own way. Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgeway had girlfriends and wives that they "loved" and didn't harm. The neurons firing were probably not the same as the neurons that fire in non-psychopath's heads when they experienced that love, but I don't think psychopaths are entirely one-dimensional (although their antisocial disposition does make them intrinsically "evil" from society's viewpoint).
