beginning at the age of 12, I was going backstage to whatever concerts I wanted to see, and getting all access passes for me and all my friends... after a while, but different security teams at the different concert venues all grew familiar with me... they realized I was a permanent fixture.

they all eventually realized, "yeah, that's that guy that does the Elvis paintings and he's a regular here. he'll end up with free passes and hanging out with the band, so don't even worry about him"

But I became very familiar with all of the backstage areas of the different arenas and concert halls.... 1my home away from home...

I was 18 years old, living with my girlfriend Joy, the registered nurse

And one night I had a very very dream... One of those dreams were you can almost taste of smell things, where you can actually feel the emotions associated with the dream...

almost more real than reality.. That diaper is strange dream

in the dream, I was walking around in the backstage area oh a big concert arena, walking with an entourage...

in the dream, I was walking in a group guys, an entourage, I was in tow, following behind the person who I realized was the "celebrity of that evening"

But I never got to see his face in the dream... because I was behind him, I only got to see the sides of his head when he turned slightly

in the dream I was like "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS GUY?"

It was one of those old corny 1950s retro Sci-Fi movie rocket planes, breaking through a ring of stars

and it said JET NEPTUNE

.... and that's when I realized "oh shit!! ITS MY SON!!!"

Look I'm sorry if it upsets you Johnny I'm just relaying the information because I thought you should know, I don't claim to know anything I'm just going on what jet himself said a couple days ago, don't shoot the messenger. I can't help but wonder though, are you really as good as you think? because every time someone mentions jet, you say he's coming to visit, you've been saying it for months.. so that begs the question is he really coming to visit?

and that's when I woke up... I made coffee and told Joy about the dream. when she left for work I busted out the old Decca fabric paints, and painted the logo fromy dream I'm the back of my black leather motorcycle jacket.

instead of a satin tourer jacket, mine was a leather motorcycle jack, but I even put 2 gold bars at the wrist and collar, emulating the tour jacket look

it was my favorite fucking jacketp. I partied SO HARD In that goddamn jacket

I had that jacket for years... I would wear it everywhere...

then, it somehow got lost

as the years rolled by, all of my real girlfriends (not the night stands) heard the story about the dream, along with the other 5,000 life stories you tell each other when you're dating....

FAST FORWARD A COUPLE DECADES
my wife and I went to get the sonogram to learn the gender of the baby in her tummy... when the doctor showed us the sonogram, and said 'youre going to have a boy", my wife IMMEDIATELY said " it's JET!!!"

..... which completely caught me my surprise. I didn't even know she remembered the story about the dream, and we had never discussed it, nor had there ever been any mention of it

it was a complete surprise!!!
an amazing gift
she LITERALLY made "my dream come true"
