nah man i srsly need you to give me insight on this one: my sister is driving me insane with it. but my fiance and i just moved closer to her, and he's pretty standoffish but yknow, not rude or anything. hes just a normal fuckin guy, doesn't say much who cares right? WRONG apparently. wrong to my sister who is FIXATED on the idea that he's mad at her, that she did something wrong, or that shes in trouble somehow until he talks to her again or something.
and i truly don't know how to get at that. i reassure her, i tell her the truth, i lie on his behalf to excuse his absences, nothing makes a difference. does THAT sound like something a BPD patient would fixate on? or is that just her being weird?

yeah kind of....once we get something stuck in our heads, it doesn't fucking let go
