I'm about to be homeless. I was living with a friend trying to find a job but his wife is making him kick me out in about a month. No family or other friends for support. I have a bachelor's in Communications but don't know what I can do with it bc I don't have a career. My car died and got scrapped so I can't live in it. Yes I know I'm a fuck up. What the hell do I do? Serious advice please .. I'm scared
>>936288347 (OP)Get a backpack, a change of clothes, fork, knife, spoon, cup & bowl, flashlight, hunting knife, bug repellant, roll of paper towels, gallon jug for drinking water
Dont camp anywhere in twon where bums & ghetto thugs or the cops can find you, go just outside town where it is forested and camp in the trees with a hammock if you have one if not get a hammock
Good luck
>>936288347 (OP)Forget your degree, forget your pride and get a job, ANY job. Even work at McDonalds if you have to, wash dishes somewhere, mow lawns for a landscaper - anything. Now that you're working people will be more willing to help you, even your friend's wife might change her mind about you, maybe give you another month or two to save money. Just don't be a fuck up, it's really that simple.
Check the homeless shelters in the area. Join the army. Join a cult. Start wandering.
>>936288347 (OP)Kill your friend and take his wife. Bam problems solved.
>>936289502I was going to suggest join the army but this is a far more sensible suggestion
>>936288347 (OP)Change "friend's wife" to "friend's parents" and a different degree and I'm literally in the same situation right now
Better job hunt.
In the meanwhile see what you can do with the internet. See if any of the below helps.
Paid plasma donation.
Labor gigs via local organizations, Craigslist, Facebook and the like.
Look into your local government programs such as social services, nonprofits and community aid / assistance programs.
Learn alternate ways to make money. Who knows. Maybe you can do a daily blog on several big sites with monetized videos about your trip from homeless to a millionaire. You would not be the first and there are good videos out there if you want to try to mimic results.
Survey platforms for money.
Prolific
Qmee
Swagbucks
Earn money by sharing your internet connection.
Honeygain
Pawns App
Look into low or no income programs for vehicles. Also see if you can find a cheap one such as at a public auction. If you have a car consider the following.
Rideshare Driving (Uber, Lyft)
Food Delivery (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart)
Package Delivery (Amazon Flex, UPS, FedEx)
Local Deliveries (Roadie, Postmates)
Car Advertising (Carvertise, Wrapify)
Some of the above can be done with an electric scooter.
Avoid buy-here-pay-here lots as they are often high-interest traps.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Avoid no title cars.
You will want a backpack, a plastic bag to keep it dry, a portable device that can access internet, your ID and social security card, a pair of thermal underwear, a spare set of clothes, and likely a container for liquid.
Look into job access programs, 211.org, local shelters, local food banks / pantries, contact local charities and churches.
Chatgpt is a good source for lists that target specific problems. New sessions with different phrasing often yields new results. Its info can be outdated or simply wrong however.

>>936289092Anything but go to McDonald's
>>936291496PS: A thin sheet helps keep bugs that bite off you. Bags to keep dirty things in can help decrease your other things from smelling. Prepare for winter.
Bump in the hopes that OP gets the help he needs.

If this isn't bait...
Just work any job at the moment. Min wage will literally hire anybody - it's shit but its something. Also, join a job agency - you will probably work with spics and jeets, but you will always get a job with them eventually. If you are going to be homeless sign up for a cheap gym membership and use them for showers. If you want a roof over your head, live with several roommates; I don't know how it works elsewhere, but in the UK rent is much cheaper and bills are usually all inclusive when you flat share. Yes, it's shit living with a lot of people, but it's better than being homeless.
Eventually, you will escape it.
>Communications
My cousin did something similar and does well. Maybe apply to internships even if they are shit for some experience.
>fuck up
I have known people who were a lot worse than what you were in are now doing well.
I have been where you are anon. You will be fine.
O
Some restaurants even offer meals to employees. That might help you keep going
