Did it just die out when weed got legalized/medical and zoomers started becoming adults 10 years ago?
Like I'm glad the dreadlock unwashed penniless hippie stoner types are gone as well as the rich corporate suitfags vaping it on their lunch breaks, but its like it just disappeared from public view in society.

No-one hangs out and smokes together anymore, no-one talks about it, no-one shares joints around, its not social anymore.
Its like everyone who smokes just does it on their own at home now and it sucks.
I miss being at the bar, someone flashes a doob and 4-5 randoms go outside together to share it.

I haven't thought about it, but yeah, I haven't burned one with some buds in a long time. It's just weed culture changing with the times. I'm okay with it in exchange for pot finally being legal, and able to be studied for its abilities

OP here, I had this suspicion for a while.
I got to enjoy traveling Canada trying local varieties of weed 1-2 years before they legalized.
Went back to my home country and got on medical but everything basically feels the same except just in Sativa and "not-sativa" flavors.
Its also way too strong, if I was smoking the amount I was in Canada now I'd die of a heart attack, I have just a bit in my one hitter and i'm too out of it to even check my phone let alone do anything.

People have their own shit going on. Busy with their girlfriends or their wives/kids, working... hell like half of people I know have two jobs now.
Even online everyone's gradually getting more and more antisocial, its like society as a whole is getting more and more introverted apart from a shrinking group of Staceys and Gregs who are hitting the bars on a Friday night.

Between weed being legal, alcohol getting expensive, bars/restaurants pricing themselves out of the market, phone gambling, social media and AI chat bots everyones just realising its easier to just stay at home and do nothing than it is to do stuff.

Not to steal anyones light but I was an alcoholic before that I tried to shelve it but I'm still an acolic now too. Why does this feel like some kinda dating site bio text thing.
