if this actually does bother you I recommend researching stories (true accounts) of children with past lives and what people who work in hospice care think and say. don't convince yourself death is the end without getting the perspectives of people who are around it every day and people who can't explain why their 3 year olds are talking about ww2 in detail.

I feel the same but I definitely don't want to live until then either, the unknown scares me and the thought of not existing, but I wonder if there is something after, like death is just the process of 'birth' in some other state like a higher dimension or something? Maybe the universe has been collapsing to a singularity and then restarting with a big bang repeatedly, but how did it start? Maybe the process just cannot be understood by our monkey brains...
