What am I in for, reading this book?

I listened to the audio book years ago, there's some meme quotes and not really much else

I read it myself recently (the stalag edition like >>936356194 says) and IMO it was interesting as a historical piece but I didn't think it was a good read in its own right. The prose isn't very good and it doesn't have any great insight into anything. It might have sounded good to the right-leaning German normie of the 1920s and 30s though.
