i think you are wrong, rough estimates put their memory in the 24 hour range, but recent studies are challenging that and suggesting spiders learn humans' routines actively studying patterns to avoid detection. those shits are on a learning curve that i think is outpacing crows.
crows are scavengers so i'd assume that amount of fat they can get is high so brain development should be near max, spiders eat insects so id assume a lower fat percentage per meal and thus lower resources for brain development, but that doesn't correspond to the rapid increase in memory limit; from 24 hours a few years ago to almost 72+ hours plus pattern recognition.

I especially like the little jumping spiders like in the OP pic. Small, cute, very curious about humans, and don't leave webs all over my house. I always let them be when I see them, or take them outside if they've recently exploded in population.
