All of these fits are usually driven by anxiety, from a place of hopelessness. Tantrums basically. When someone perceives few options to change for the better.
Perhaps OP will share some specific examples from his experience for context.

Yes, OP I used to. Rage or tears, it would often end in laughter as I realize the futility of it. You will hopefully grow out of it.
