Im Chilean
we have a permanent military base there, and at least 30-40 people stay at all times
the closest city is around 1200kms, so that means all transport and supplies is done by air, so a lot of planes use the same route to get shit done
thats why is important to know at all times which planes are using the route, otherwise an accident can easily occurs, because theres obligatory altitudes planes have to use to move around

because in low altitudes moving a plane is dangerous in a place where it snows/theres storms 80% of the year, and if you didnt know, planes cant fly too high because they use combustion engines. Over 15kms of altitude, there isnt enough oxygen for combustion, and your engine would eventually stop working and your fucking trips ends at the bottom of the sea
thats why theres a set altitude of 9-12kms for planes, so they can also detect each other using their radars

even the most basic commercial/military planes move at 500mph (800kmh)
the human eye can, at best, see 3 miles (5km) ahead of him
that means if you see an object moving at that speed, you will have less than 20 seconds between you see the object to move away from his trayectory
now do the math if both planes are in the same line facing each other
thats why air traffic exists

Hitler was weirdly obsessed with Antarctica, and why would he be? It's supposedly just ice up there. He and the world leaders of the time know there's some weird shit up there, maybe the ark of the covenant, maybe some giant catacomb worshipping Baal or Moloch or any of those other demons.

this is useful for sure above big countries like US or EU where a lot of trafic occures and your air company have to look for the safety of passagers
but on that location and with a solo flying plane it is more like astronomical distances from any object, you have as much chances to collide into another plane that you have to collide with an asteroid in a spaceship
also 20 seconds with "BEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEP ALERT PROXIMITY CONTACT" computers onboard radar alerting you seems like a lot of time, solo planes are pretty agile

also air traffic controls actually doesn't stop planes roads to meet, a lot of commercial planes fly very very close to each other, if they don't regulate this more for commercial flight there is prob no need to do so in chilie for indie flights
all you have to do is fly 10m above or under the altitude of the trafic road and you're 99% safe
