Imagine if a group of people. Lets say Chinese, settled in Miami. And then claimed that Pensacola was the Land of Xi, their ancestral holy land.
And started bombing Florida's state government offices.
And because it was a holy land, millions in funding was given to those people doing the bombing campaigns by other Chinese expats in other nations.
And then they declare that Tallahassee is theirs, and take it in a bombing campaign.
Then they start claiming the land around it. they send "settlers" in, who beat up the locals, shoot those who oppose, and then use bulldozers to tear down the orange groves which they make their income on.
At this point the Floridians start getting pretty angry, and start attacking back, but the settlers in Xi have been getting military hardware from China, and push the locals back.
now, they're being funded a quarter of a billion every year, and they continue "settling" areas, the entire coast from Jacksonville to Fort beach gets seized, and the residents are forced into ghettos in Fort Lauderdale.
Any Floridian who attempts to fight back as their homes are stolen or looted gets shot.
And now, the people who've been living in Florida for centuries start fighting back, from the ghettos where they aren't permitted to leave to find work, not given drinking water, of medicine, and power's cut randomly half the time.
