Christians originally claimed animals only did those things (cannibalism, necrophilia etc.) because of mans fall, but when it became clear that actually they were doing said things before man was even a thing they had to invent multiple new copes

There are many kind of spirits.

Some are simple serving spirits.

All are required to be born of the flesh and to eventually die. being here is not always about right or wrong. Perhaps the lesser spirits just learn the law of the jungle.
