yes, i used to chew crushed ice in a hot shower the texture of the ice changed, i do not understand it.
increasing the heat around ice would not make it softer, but the taste of water changes with temp still it is an unexplained mystery, like is it faster to cool a fork full of food by placing it in the rising steam collum

I eat cereal in the shower from time to time as well as brush my teeth. I put the cereal in a red solo cup and put milk in the other red solo cup. I get a mouthful of cereal and then drink some milk while chewing and it’s amazing. No soggy cereal and you can eat it anywhere
