There is a difference between how voters/politicians, democrats/republicans act toward this. For the most part, only republicans voters were throwing accusations of politicians being on that list, and its because republicans will resort to any insult, if it's a hypocritical one. Democratic voters will also throw this accusation around, but certainly not as much.

But if you notice, no democratic politician threw this insult around. It has been trumps most devout backers (specifically Trumps backers), and its probably because they wouldn't actually have believed their orange god was actually on it. Now the signs are kind of obvious, so they have to drop the whole thing. All the people on that list? They would absolutely out Trump as well. Thats why they can't attack the dems anymore with this. And democratic politicians would have outted themselves if they had attempted to actually use it against Trump. Both sides of politicians have been monsters, so they have a truce about this one so that neither gets hurt.
