Have you guys noticed artists crying about how AI is a monster that's going to ruin their careers? Like... Why do they think they are so special? Technology has been replacing people forever, this isn't new. Many people lost their jobs.

They want to delay progress because for their own benefit instead of humanities benefits, I know nobody wants to be replaced, but you can't stop the world to save your job. Just learn to use the new thing so you don't get unemployed.

The truth is, the artists who WILL survive will use both traditional methods, and modern ones (digital art AND ai generatiob) to her then further in their own careers.

Those that fear ai, it's mostly because they fear change and have nothing else to say about said change.

Artists crying about AI art are using the same arguments artists said about digital art with the added bonus of being hobby artists.

Artists in marketing, game development, website design and so on are all using AI. Some amateur furry artists aren't going to stop the professionals from using the new tool.

Look mate, using machines to bake our bread and do our laundry for us is a whole helluva lot different than using machines to paint our pictures, voice our characters and direct our movies. So far using it to generate heaps of porn has been quite successful and worth it, but its also advancing learned helplessness. Kids today already hardly know how to do jack shit. Now thanks to AI its going to get worse. Kids won't know how to tye their own shoelaces or wipe their own asses in no time. I see a future full of incompetent retards ahead of us.

What is the point of knowing how to do something that isn't needed?
If there is something that can do it faster and with good enough quality that replaces the original method it should be the method used.

It's always inorganic. Foreign niggas don't want YOU to use AI, and want to convince YOU that AI isn't worth investing in, meanwhile they'll be using it en masse. Same thing with regards to art. Your competitors don't want YOU to adapt and use AI, but meanwhile they're going to adapt and utilize AI to increase their throughput dramatically. It's natural selection at work. If you fall for the fearmongering, you'll fall behind and your competitors will get ahead. Adapt or die.
