I use the brown bag in the mike with a bit o butter and seasonings to make my popcorn. Tasty as all fuck and a bit more healthy as it has less chemicals to keep it shelf stable

Depends, if the bag is lined with PFAS materials to make it water and fat retardant, those chemicals can leech into the popcorn during the cooking process in the microwave oven.
You should look into that with the microwave popcorn you use if you want them to be healthier.

i buy loose kernels from orville reddenbacker and cook it in a pot like it is supposed to be done. always comes out perfect and nearly every single kernel gets popped.
