What is the bullshit on North Korea?

Are there any interesting redpills on North Korea?

The North Korean government will often complain that they're being misrepresented by "western media" which is a charge that has to be taken seriously for atleast a moment.

Israelis will launch rockets at Palestinians and play victim over retaliatory strikes.
Western media has been caught lying about Syria, with women holding their babies above fire to make them cry for the cameras. Cars exploding, and then people running into frame to act like they got hurt by it. America is constantly trying to agitate for war with Iran, on dubious pretenses.

But I've been watching alot of videos about North Korea. The way their citizens dance and march, they seems scared as hell, and I seriously considered it might be the Kulushov effect, which is that a neutral face can be interpreted as having whatever emotions you're primed to believe they have, but I think an easy way to prove this isn't happening, is to just compare North Korean citizens dancing in North Korea, vs North Korean fanatics dancing in Japan's nork-schools.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNmBm11XFwY

It seems clear that in the latter case, the ignorant nork wannabes are quite happy and legitimately cheerful. They simply have no idea, and they feel no fear.

That being said, western media frequently lies to us, so I want to know what, if anything, is the real BULLSHIT on North Korea.

I've already heard people on /pol/ say "it's not our problem. We shouldn't interfere." I'm not even saying we should necessarily interfere. I just want to factually assess North Korea, and the MSM perspective of it.

What do they want us to believe, and what is the actual truth?

South Korea would take them. They run projects to help escaped refugees, all the time.

The line separating North Korea
and South Korea
is an imaginary line,
separating a --single-- nation.
This is so obvious to everyone in the world,
no one denies it,
not even politicians in the South.
The line separating English-speaking European "Americans"
and English-speaking European "Canadians"
is also an imaginary line
separating a --single-- nation.
But people will pretend otherwise
all day long.
Liberals don't believe in the existence of nations at all.
Merely asserting that nations are real things,
actually makes you a national socialist
in this day and age.

They probably don't actually eat babies in prison or think that Kim Jong-un was birthed by a unicorn and invented the hamburger. It probably is the most totalitarian state in the world with very tight control of basic information and extremely harsh laws, tough prisons, and a ruling cult of personality.

Does it even exist?
Maybe.
But what I’m nearly certain of is that Kim jong Un is not a real person. He’s a mental patient they bring out when they need a photo op.
A lot of people in the public eye aren’t real… they are more an idea or an aggregate of an idea, a team with a face person to further an agenda.
It’s batshit I know, but consider it.

I don't want to attack it as batshit (especially after witnessing the Biden presidency), but I want to know why you think this.

someone told me that "Andy Sixx is the head of of the Ministry of Agriculture there" in North Korea. Is this true, or possible? If this is a joke, is there any information you can give me on Andy Six that would make this joke funnier? Or is it a random non-sequitar, and he might as well say Spielberg is head of the treasury in North Korea, and Jessica Alba is head of the DOJ in North Korea?
ChatGPT said:

That claim — “Andy Sixx is the head of the Ministry of Agriculture in North Korea” — is absolutely not true, and it's most likely meant as a joke or absurdist non-sequitur, similar to saying Jessica Alba is the head of the DOJ in North Korea. Let's break it down:
Who is Andy Sixx?

Real name: Andy Biersack (formerly went by Andy Sixx)

Occupation: Lead singer of the American rock band Black Veil Brides

Genre: Emo / glam metal / hard rock

Persona: Known for gothic fashion, dramatic makeup, and emotional/angsty lyrics

Nationality: American (born in Ohio)

So… he’s a tattooed, eyeliner-wearing emo rock singer from the U.S. — not exactly Kim Jong-un’s ideal bureaucrat.
Why It’s (Obviously) Not Real

North Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture is a real agency, but it’s tightly controlled by the regime.

Foreigners don’t hold positions of power, especially not Western musicians.

Andy has never been linked in any way to North Korean politics or diplomacy.

There's no evidence or rumor suggesting he’s ever been to North Korea.

So What’s the Joke?

It’s probably one of these:
1. Absurdism / Internet Humor

This kind of joke is like saying:

“Yeah, Nicolas Cage is actually in charge of border control in Antarctica.”

It’s funny because it’s so obviously false, and mixing dark authoritarianism with glam-rock melodrama adds a surreal twist.

2. Satirical Juxtaposition

Andy Sixx’s emo/goth image and performative angst are a wild contrast to something dry and bureaucratic like… North Korean agriculture policy. That’s the comedy.
Want to Make It Funnier?

If you want to lean into the joke, you could say:

"In a stunning career pivot, Andy Sixx has traded eyeliner and power chords for tractors and fertilizer subsidies as the Supreme Director of Cabbage."

Or:

"Rumors say Andy Sixx was appointed by Kim Jong-un after a moving karaoke rendition of 'Knives and Pens' brought the Politburo to tears."

TL;DR:

No, Andy Sixx is not part of North Korea’s government.

The claim is a joke, most likely absurdist or satirical.

The humor comes from the massive contrast between his image and the grim reality of North Korean state control.

Let me know if you want help turning this into a meme or making it part of a comedy script!

And yet if I cross one of those imaginary lines without documentation or approval from that government, I get deported or shot. The line may be imaginary but the actions people take because of their existance are not. This is the stupidest post I've seen in a while. Worse than frogs and Andy's shitlog.

No they fucking wouldn't.
They help Norks get out of there on individual basis, but if the regime collapses and there is mass exodus, they have no means to handle millions of people trying to get in to south.

It would be the world's biggest humantarian catastrophe. There are 26 million norks, and even if just 10% of them decide to make a run for it, South would have to institute martial law just to keep people in place in NK in order to feed them all.

Naah. Nobody in that part of the world wants to deal with that shit. So the status quo continues (and is kept up by the neighbouring nations) just to avoid that disaster.

Fact: South Korea is America's bitch
Fact: America and Europe are taking zillions of shitty brown refugees. They're even starting to shove them into Japan.

If America instructed South Korea to take all the refugees, even at the risk of instituting Martial Law to handle them all, South Korea would suffer some growing pains, but the horror of North Korea would finally be over, and ultimately there would be less suffering.

Also, if the regime totally collapsed, South Korea could annex the territory and start building better housing for themselves and all the Norks.

It's even possible the American president/intelligence agencies could coordinate with the South Korean government in advance of a North Korea collapse to prepare for this.
