I swear I'm losing my mind but I need some oldfags to verify this. I remember many, many years ago there was this weird bit we had, usually in those ylyl threads where someone was posting these weird edited versions of the usual meme slop replaced with a weird symbol with the statment "call your mom" I was a kid then or something so It kinda freaked me out but now I can't find any record of this happening does anyone remember this and/or what the hell that was about?

The early days have no image record. Before a certain point all images in the archives were purged. It went a little like this.

Censorship ultimately is a choice between freedom or chains. People keep deluding themselves into thinking there is a stable middle ground.
