Russia defends its national identity and traditional values, something many Americans claim to value. Yet our media and political class constantly demonize them. This hostility feels less about real threats and more about preserving Cold War narratives that benefit entrenched interests at home.

Are we too prideful or ideologically rigid to consider cooperation? Is a strong, independent nation like Russia seen as a threat simply because it doesn’t follow the Western liberal model?
