If you entered an otherwise unsuspecting bar, and found that there were halfbody animatronics up on the wall riffing and talking to the patrons live (either doing crowd work or casually chatting), what would your reaction be?
Do you think this would drive up appeal? Would you want to stay or would you be put off by the concept and leave?
Would it influence your decision to come back over an alternative bar nearby?

Also are you 21+?

I lived thru this cringe creepiness in my youth; no urge to do it again.

It would depend on the designs I think. People now associate chuck e cheese animatronics with horror, but still don't seem bothered by Disney World

An animatronic social den with party model structure would attract the most abject losers and mentally ill people you could imagine.

What do you mean by a party model structure? It sounds like you're just describing a chuck e cheese

>party model structure
A party model is a person, usually model from an agency or similar, who talks and associates with guests as their job. Usually for events but there are clubs and restaurants like it. They facilitate business deals/partnerships among guests and often can be used for high tier charity events; however, they are also used for sheer social utility of the host for some high class parties, as well.
It old age social marketing.

Ah yes, that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking. A social environment that can use the whimsy of animatronics to elevate the experience in a casual adult setting, without going full "childish birthday party" like these types of animatronics were used for in the 80s and 90s
