you should get therapy. You'd be surprised how often a therapist will know exactly how to start with you. You'll feel better, but it'll be tough at first. I'm not going to say you shouldn't want male validation, but it sounds like you don't get any from yourself. It shouldn't be that way. You seem nice, don't let your own anxieties/insecurities poison you.
