Is simply kneeling until you pass out viable? I think I could tolerate that, but full on kicking the chair would be very painful and activate panic mode. I've also considered autoerotic asphyxiation as a method, but not sure how I can set that up in my bedroom.

Well here's my take as someone who's depressed/doesn't mind being dead, why kill yourself at all? I mean wouldn't you rather live a cool and good life than be dead? I know I would, and to exhaust yourself of that option willingly without even seeing your life's potential in a year, 5 years or 10 years from now, idk I'd be curious to see what it'd turn out to be like personally, even if I really hate where I'm at. After all, we do only live once, and I'm not a fan of cliche sayings and all. So I say, just tough it out for a bit longer, tough it out but make it with effort towards a goal to have a smile for the day.

Asphyxiation is not a fun or easy way to kill yourself. If you give yourself an out, you're likely to take it. Best bet is to hang it from something sturdy, and have a drop, as to snap your neck, rather than strangle you
