honestly not sure what to make of it. as far as jobs go its not bad but its not in the least bit fulfilling almost to the extent that I don't even think I'd be proud if I did something well, etc. Also the company's a bit "whoever pays" for my liking but way of the world I guess.

Sometimes I wonder if it would be a net positive if I just ended things beforehand. Yeah yeah I know 4chan would love to hop all over that but I just mean in a somewhat existentialist sense rather than "IM ON THE EDGE GUYS". I have people who love me and who would miss me if I were so selfish though.

That's true, I've worked as a janitor for a few different place over the past ten years so I know.
It's honestly pretty easy money, it's just not fulfilling work.

Yeah honestly its a little startling what "real work" feels like in comparison. I did a bit of volunteering a few weeks back and I felt brilliant basically every second of the way - even if I was just an unpaid usherer.

As a new grad about 47k before tax. That's in Europe mind you and you can get that up pretty quickly if you hop around (still, markets a bit shit at the moment so best to play it safe for now)

Still even if it is sort of a meme used by tech companies to generate more and cheaper labour - I would still recommend learning to code if you have the time. At the very least it teaches you how to think.
