But this is how I understand it:

Life has no particular meaning, things just exist by themselves. There is only one path, one existence, one choice and that is the one we make every single day in the present. There is no correct way to live life, but at the same time: things have patterns and meanings that are unknown for our current selves, and will only be understood in the future.
