Teen pregnancy rates have sharply declined, along with marriage rates. Is this a good thing? If you could set the pregnancy and marriage rate for girls, what would it be? Would it change over agegroups? If you were a woman would you marry/get pregnant?

Also! Important to note, self reported happiness has gone down over time for both women and men. Also, married women with kids are consistently the happiest among women

I think if those things weren't an option, women would use their brains more ahead of time, but its hard to tell. I do know all those would have a negative effect on birth rates for sure. The income thinking here is short range. Starting earlier increases the chances of more live births which would increase the spending long term. It should also increase productivity which satisfies both the GDP model which uses consumption as a gauge and the model that uses productivity as a gauge. Also, since women live longer, on average, it isn't going to change much if they enter the work force 5-10 years later. I'd argue it might be better that they enter the work force at 30-35 and work continuously versus entering at 20-25 and dropping out for 5 to 10 years when they have a baby.

but history shows us that doesn't usually happen. the change in times wasn't married housewifes attending college and becoming dual income earners...it was promoting safe sex/college to young girls who delay marriage/kids for careers.

Ya, they don't use their brains much, now, because western culture and society has taught them that they don't have to. I have some very intelligent female friends that definitely don't seem to be the norm. They do exist out there, but its so easy for them to just get by using their emotions against everyone else to get what they want.

Most would choose the latter. Most people don’t actually want to work, people only go to college and get shitty jobs because it’s that or being homeless.

Of course, given how fucked our society is, it may just be simpler to just ban all women under the age of 30 from attending college. Possibly even high school. Realistically how much are college educated women doing for society? While some women are intelligent, half of them are getting useless degrees like gender studies, and the other half end up pregnant anyway. Women have pushed so much to have careers for themselves so they can be more than trad wives, but most still choose jobs that are essential caring for kids or serving a man(teacher, daycare, secretary, prostitute, maid, ect)
