I mean if you asked the average fresh out of highschool girl “would you rather have to go through 4 grueling years of college and toil away at a shitty job, or would you rather live a cushy life with a successful older man where all you have to do is be pretty and have kids”
Most would choose the latter. Most people don’t actually want to work, people only go to college and get shitty jobs because it’s that or being homeless.
Instead of “should we allow women to go to school and be independent vs all women should go to school and be independent”, if we structure society so that women can choose one or the other, most are going to bend over and stop taking plan B
