Seriously, dress up to kids is positive, engaging roleplay that expands their capacity for empathy, perspective and creativity. It doesn't lead to them becoming the characters or creatures they pretend to be, which are abstracted in ways devoid of the adult bagage we place upon these entities. The very fact you would vote for MAGA on this basis is a clear indicator that you didn't get enough of this form of play when you should have.
