They don’t want you to remember the original timeline, and therefore most of the Mandela effects are covered in well, say layers to hide the original version.
So even if you remember the “ old” it’s still most likely not the original. Hopefully that makes sense. However it’s a cat and mouse game, if you find shards of information broken glass around the globe it’s an anomaly
