>>937503426 (OP)>What if my choice is to NOT contribute to society? You'll lose a lot of the protections that normal people take for granted, namely your status as someone who contributes. People think it doesn't do much, but your new status as a non-contributor sends a subconscious signal that "there's something wrong with this dude." You won't be able to hide it, chicks won't dig it, people will be able to sense it about you, and the cops will inherently assume you're up to no good at all times. Good news is that most city cops are drowning in homeless-related calls and won't actively mess with you.
>Am I going to die of hunger? Ironically, you're more likely to die of hunger if you try to fend for yourself than you are if you just become a social leech. Your local food pantry and homeless shelter will make sure you're at least fed, and if you live in a city you can literally just steal all your food. Most cities are only putting homeless people away for violent crimes these days so they don't run out of room for non-homeless offenders. You'll get a court date, have your inventory taken from you like a video game, but then you'll be good to go.
>Are they going to take the house? Based on what you said here
>>937504546, yeah absolutely. Unless you can find a way to pay those taxes every year without a job.
>Will I sleep on the streets?I dunno, will you? You have that option, most cities have stopped kicking homeless campers out of parks, you could couch surf, you could stay at the shelter. That last one will probably get you killed/horribly sick though.
>What the fuck will happen?See above, but mostly who even knows? You'll be opening yourself up to the forces of chaos if you choose this path.
Honestly, I've considered living the traditional hobo lifestyle, and I hope I can get my debts paid before I'm too old to do it. You have more freedom than anybody else in the world, actually, while homeless.
