>>937587468 (OP)To my paraphrased mongoloid understanding of Buddhism: Suffering is a symptom of desire. The human spirit is hurt when it wants what it can't have. You want someone back, you want old times back, you want to be known, loved, understood. Maybe you were born with a body or mind that you hate, with a condition that you wish you didn't have etc.
Acknowledge that you can't have it all, all of the time. After all, how could you? Everything is born, everything stagnates, everything decays, and everything dies. To strive for peace, you have to understand this and make peace with departure as it arrives. Concern yourself with what you can control, and don't concern yourself with what you can't hope to control. That's not to say "stop caring about everything", but it is to say "it is what it is."
