I can't understand this projection.
Democrats change the law to do their shit, Republicans break it but feel morally superior in doing so due to their goals.
The fact is, Dems were never gonna release the files during an active investigation, where Republicans would've if they would have benefitted from the release.
That makes it SO MUCH MORE SUSPICIOUS that they're voting so hard to not release it, and Dems had to literally go through special rules subcommittees in order to pass it, because as of a few weeks ago, the Jeffrey Epstein case and Investigation was closed. Now there's no letter of the law reason to restrict access to the Jeffrey Epstein files, and yet here we are. During Biden, the Trump Appointed FBI Head was still in, Biden didn't break the status quo and fire all of Trump's appointments, nor did he demand their retirement.
