some states are even weirder and depending on the hospital system itself, if its partnered with or owned by the state or a state owned university to a certain degree they can not only slam your credit score but garnish your wages in a similar way they can if you dont pay your taxes. US tax code is super retarded and the debt laws are even weirder.
