Tell me what the fuck do I have to start eating right now to lose fat. A lentils and oatmeal based diet? I know I'm not going to become a fitness freak so diet is my focus. I'm fucking sick and tired of being stared at.

I don't eat sugar almost at all, if I do it's in the food already. With coffee I use artificial sweeteners. Carbs I should only get from non-starchy vegs and oatmeal and shit like that?

Less. Estimate your TDEE, there are plenty of online calculators for it, and eat 300-500 fewer calories than that per day. The food you do eat should constitute a reasonable balance of protein, carbs (vegetables are carbs, not just bread), and fat. Processed foods and junk foods tend to be calorie dense, so if you're used to eating shit like that, switch to a more natural diet and you will feel more full while ingesting fewer calories. Cook shit yourself, and don't add a ton of grease or sugar. Stop drinking empty calories, pop, slurpees, alcohol etc.

The main problem with carbs is how quickly they spike your blood sugar. Complex carbs like whole grains are all right, but you really should be deprioritizing them in favor of fats and proteins. Veggies for fiber and the shit you can't get from meat. Protein and fat should be from animal sources.

If you drink at night this is your (and my) problem. You can easily add 400 to 500+ calories. I watch my diet during the day then fuck it all up at night.

the general rules is 1800 is the cap for weight loss

the cap is higher or lower depending on muscle n activity level of individual

but 1800 should work for a majority of people for weight loss

You need to burn more calories than you consume to lose weight. Nothing else matters. If you don't want to exercise then you need to reduce your calorie intake. If you don't want to decrease your calorie intake then you need to increase your physical activity so you burn more calories.

Eat less or increase your physical activity, or both if you really want to see results.

It is that simple.

Yeah, fill up on raw leafy greens like spinach and kale, as well as other greens like broccoli, asparagus, and peas. You can use canned peas. If you just shove this shit into your mouth when you feel like you "need a snack", you'll sate your hunger while putting great dietary fiber into your body plus a shitload of micronutrients that WILL make a difference on your mood and energy.

You may still "crave" sweetness: switch to peanut butter and don't overdo it. It legitimately replaces the urge to eat chocolate and bullshit like oreos or cheesecake if you have even a little bit of willpower. Eat red beans because black beans taste like water and mush, and cut out milk, juice (especially anything artificial like Sunny D, Capri Sun), and basically any liquid that isn't water.

If you're trying to drink a lot of water but it makes you feel sick even when you don't have a lot, you're probably low on electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium. First, take a Flinstones multivitamin every morning; then, put salt in your foods if water makes you feel that way, and have (NO MORE THAN) two bananas a day for potassium. Maybe take a magnesium supplement if your multivitamin doesn't cut it.

Lentils, oats, nuts (almonds and pistachios are good) - but don't get ridiculously loaded Planters nuts designed to trick fatsos into thinking they're healthy. Avoid sugar except from fresh fruits - blueberries, raspberries, watermelon (barely anything in it), and the occasional apples or grapes; and again, don't overdo it.

Try to stay busy - LONG WALKS are GOAT-tier. Do that and if you don't lose weight, you're a lying piece of shit. That is the core of the "Blue Zone" dietary type. Look it up.

More protein. It's more filling and takes longer to burn. Less carbs. Carbs burn fast and leave you hungry. Absolutely get rid of refined sugars. If you are drinking sugary beverages, get rid of them. Don't bring them home. Get rid of sugary snacks. Replace them with fruit or dried fruit (natures candy). Lastly, drink more water.

The math is simple.

Calories in - calories out.

Run a small defecit to not stave or feel like you are starving, too sudden a change is what triggers most people to snap and have cheat days etc.

Abs are made in the kitchen, as its said. If you can be bothered to prep and cook your own food you will:
a) eat better
Regardless of what bullshit some people spout, if you are focused on eating balanced as some mentioned above, produce and cheap protein cuts are actually gonna go WAY further in your grocery cart than boxes of pre-made shit.
b) you control what goes in
no fucking red dye #457 or bonus flavours
c) you spend time and calories prepping and cooking
By the time you're done, you ain't gonna want to snack.

You don't really need to work out, but that WILL help you gain some muscle or develop what you have. Even if you just do some form of calisthenics... fuck, just do pushups, pullups if you have something, crunches and squats/lunges. You'll tone up within 3-6 months if you aren't muching on McShit and chocolate bars every other meal.
