If you do everything you can and the closest you ever get is her being your friend, you have to learn to move on. Go on Facebook Threads and start looking for other girls. Go to bars, or bookstores, and maybe join a hiking club or something similar. Chances are your crush is not even a match. Looking back at my first crush, I am disappointed we never dated. But I am also glad we never dated. As I met more and more girls, I learned that I do not connect with every girl I meet. With that logic, I believe there is a chance that your crush would not connect with you as easily as you think she would if you two started dating. So do not focus too much on what you do not have. Instead focus on what you can have if you put your time into other girls.
