A tattoo is just another way of saying, "I am a shallow, vapid attention-whore" without actually having to say it. If your tattoo serves as a "memory" of the deceased, you're only causing yourself anguish. Memories were meant to fade. The brain has evolved that way, for a reason. If your tattoo expresses an opinion, then know that an opinion should only be expressed (a) from the mind (b) from the heart or (c) not at all.

Adding to that, people who have their body degraded with tattoos are far more willing to have their body degraded in other ways. After all, "I've come this far. Why not experiment a little-further?" Such people will turn to recreational drug use and, in the more extreme cases, steal from family, friends and strangers alike to feed their disgusting, utterly selfish habit.

Tattooed people are the scum of the fucking Earth.

Depends on the tattoo. Some people get ones with importance to them. Others think they look cool. Whatever the reason, it most certainly isn't to give some pathetic loser at the beach a boner. Tattood people don't give a fuck what you think, its weird how much you care what they think though.

Tattoos are quickly becoming commonplace and soon we will see a paradigm shift on tattoos and their current cultural significance, I already find it more attractive and eye catching on a woman to have no tattoos at all than some trivial shit she got at a tattoo shop on sale for 60$

I dont care for flash tattoos and i think if you're willing to mark your body permanently forever you had better be spending 1000$+ on your piece to get it professionally done, but I can't say im opposed to them totally. What does the OP think of well done tattoos? pic related
