Stress to me is just thought. Similar to the first anon, the mentality you carry can outright block from having any effect on your functioning; although, delusion seems a bit more ridiculous than a bit of angst or irritation. I'd say a way of coping with stress for me is just acting: letting my emotions flow freely and taking an effort to either mend the circumstance that is upsetting, or outright removing myself from it's influence. Staying productive in alleviating the matter in a comprehensible way not only alleviates the haywire but the elevation from solving the issue is a good feel
