When I jokingly told my mom I was thinking of getting a DNA test, she freaked the fuck out and tried to legit attack me with a knife. I can only hope that the results come back that neither my "mom" nor "dad" are actually my bio parents. It hurts having nobody on your side. It really does. Loneliness is a killer.

Unfortunately unless your parents and/or potential "real" parents or relatives have also done a test through Ancestry specifically you aren't likely to uncover what you're looking for.

You're just gonna get a general idea of your genetic makeup and a whole bunch of third/fourth cousins that are distant matches.
