Well, the Halloween season is at an end. It's all over for me except for Garfield's Halloween Adventure and a couple more spooky songs.

For something small like a computer rad, fill it with CLR and let it soak, rinse, repeat as needed. Boiling in CLR would be even better.

In terms of product, my local hardware place doesn't seem to have much. It looks like pic related is the best stuff I can get without spending industrial money on industrial volume of stuff. Unless you can pick something out I suppose.

In terms of technique: I have 3 weeks to clean it. I'm looking for as deep a clean as possible. From what you say I'm thinking 'fill a small tub with hot water and mix in the entire bottle of above-mentioned product and leave for 3 weeks'.

Now, if you really meant to say CLP, I don't know where I can get that. The last time I saw that stuff was in the armory. And I'm not gonna break into there to get it.

I have no idea what is in that product...It may work, but if that's your only option I'd go with the white vinegar option. Let it soak a couple days, rinse, soak, rinse soak. Periodic rinsing will help the product penetrate thick layers better than just a long soak.
