Rich people aren't going to hang around to have their money confiscated, they're going to move. Anywhere outside of his grasp, businesses will do the same. There is basically no reason to remain in NYC if you have the money to GTFO, and there are plenty of place right outside NYC to move to, if they don't bail on the shithole that's NY state altogether.
He's going to increase costs tremendously, cut policing to the bone, and certainly all the Jew hate he's been spouting is going to create a mass exodus of Jews as well.
So, in the short term, expect a massive increase in crime, the loss of most of NYC's tax base, commercial and high end residence real estate to fall through the floor, coupled with a massive increase in budget costs, and a city run socialist grocery store system that no one is going to want to sell to because of price controls. That shit didn't work in Venezuela, where the authoritarian government controlled everything, how is it going to function where NYC has zero food production areas under their control? Do you think farmers are going to willingly sell at a loss?
