Ignore this faggot, I've been here legitimately since the start, I'm 33 now and I was about 12 when I first found 4chan, I've been here for every meme, fad and bullshit and some things are universal.
/b/'s always been full of porn, if anything it's a LOT more tame now than it was back then. Content was just as shit in quality although if you told us now you'd have ai porn machines making any form of porn you want we'd have collectively shit ourselves with excitement.
It's never been better, you may remember nostalgic times but /b/ has always been and always will be the cesspit of the internet.
For a long time 4chan's /b/ was seen as pathetic when the wider chan community was a lot more active.
Every now and again legendary moments break through but they're few and far between, but that was the case back then too.
I mean you're talking about a place that the height of comedy is desu, boxxy, gigapudding etc etc.
Although I think the major difference is back then it hadn't really pierced the cultural zeitgeist enough for the mainstream to recognise it, so you'd get funny shit like the internet hate machine yellow van fbi video bullshit.
Now days it's probably run by the glowies too.
