As a society, we decided to have specialized jobs.
We have plumbers that are specialist in fixing toilets.
We could have "full-time parents" that are specialists in raising kids.
The problem ist that the people that are very motivated to raise many kids, are not always the kind of people that should do it (christian idiots with breeding fetishes).

Maybe there is a better system where every kid is raised in a "orphanage", but without the bad aspects. Eliminate bad parents by giving each kid a whole team of specialist "full-time parents".

working families suffer because they have a good life and want to afford to give their child one. idiots that choose not to work and choose to live awfully don't care about bringing a child into it, in fact they think it'll make their life better. the child is just a product of tax payers money and entertainment.

you fix it by creating tax incentives. less income taxes per child, give people more money so that they can afford to give their children the live they want to. a family who's good with their money but is on minimum wage is going to be weary of having a child because they don't think that they'd be able to afford a better life than they had, they'll be able to afford it if the government takes less money from them so that they can afford to give their child a good life.
