I also feel that if you are genuinely capable of figuring out how to actually die from it (or anything else in your vacinity) that you would therefore be capable of pulling yourself out of your bad mental state (I say this as someone with their own diagnosed issues).

You won't die from it anon. it's theoretically possible obviously but I doubt you could. dying is a long and gruesome event, you won't just fall asleep or whatever you're imagining. more like puking endlessly body aches everywhere and seizures with 200 bpm as you start choking.
my advice - don't try overdosing on things, it's an incredibly ineffective method and you will certainly just harm your body and stay alive to experience more suffer.
