This is not even funny anymore, having a job scares me.
I just worked one day on a factory as a part of college practice. It was supposed to be a programmer's practice but nothing is working as it should in this country. This was horrible experience, I've had to do so much shit, had to wear hot uniform and move a lot of heavy shit. People do this for 12 hours every day. Like what the actual fuck? How do you live like this? This is just slavery with a little cover.
Is this really life? So like graduate and do this until retirement? No thanks

that's part of the reason blue collar workers tend to drink alot
apart from taking their mind off of it, it numbs the physical pain to some degree
>Is this really life? So like graduate and do this until retirement?
it's the path of least resistance
you just have to find something else to do, or find people to latch onto
good luck

i dunno what the hell that means, but if you're getting some kind of computer degree, you should hopefully be able to avoid physical labor
if you're worried, you should ask people at your college about how you can find a job, not motherfucking bant

I am a Computer Science student, 3rd year (1 more). College was supposed to send me to a factory to do "computer" stuff (not sure how else to describe it). This is normal, colleges do that here, it's called "production practice" or whatever. It's when college sends you to potential work place, where you do whatever people from your career do.
But apparently people on the factory didn't care and made me work hard labor anyway. Like wtf am I gonna do? Tell their boss?
>you should be happy you actually got to work here

idk, not into politics, unless I hear the language they speak I won't be able to tell. All the Ukrainian people I've interacted with were nice guys. I was born in russia not by me choice, why should I be like everyone here

ah, i wouldn't sweat it then
sounds like they're just using that college program as a free labor glitch basically
if you're competent at what you do, you should be able to find a job
try to use whatever opportunities you can while you're still in college though
if you can find a REAL practice job of some kind, that would be great

No, I meant the language. Look at the picture. Is it Ukrainian? Yes, I have an ulterior motive with this post. I just want to see if it's some Ukrainian fags who are living the high life off of charity gibs for "the war". More simply put, I want to see if the Ukrainians' abuse of war funding extends to even couples using that money to buy a very luxurious lifestyle and if they're so audacious as to flaunt that life on social media when they're supposed to be fighting. A fancy life means like jets, ski resorts, and caviar and stuff like in the picture (it's the interior of a private jet).

Yeah, they are not seeing me again, don't care if college gonna kick my ass.

I would say I am above average for my age, I've done a lot of computer stuff outside of college. The problem is who the hell will want to take a student without experience.

Honestly I don't even know. I can't comprehend "wake up - go to work - arrive home - sleep - repeat" type of life. When an I supposed to have fun?
>>22806482
The language in the pic is russian. You can easily tell too. If it has cyrillic letters + latin i (and another i with two dots instead of one), that's ukrainian. If you don't see any "i"s then it's most likely russian. There are more differences to them, but you have to speak either russian or ukrainian to find them.
About people abusing funds this is literally nothing new. Government workers do that on a daily basis. Can't tell anything about ukrainian people doing this, I don't live there

well, like you said:
>I've done a lot of computer stuff outside of college.
the trick is to present the things you did in a way that employers will appreciate, and to "sell yourself".

you can't get by JUST by doing that, of course, but having a degree helps
experience will help, and so will real projects/work
but like 80% of it is just presenting that shit in a way that makes you seem competent

also, you can pick and choose what experience you tell the employer about. you don't wanna give your entire history, just focus on things that would be relevant to the job you're applying for, and/or to what the company does.

>experience will help, and so will real projects/work
I know a guy at Apple who helps engineer the new devices. He had tons of work and experience tinkering with electronics. Then he got a degree at a technical school, did his (successful) final project, and got hired and immediately bought himself a home. While I'm not sure about his résumé/CV, all the work and experimenting he did must have given him the confidence and competency to write a good CV and present himself as a high worth individual during the hiring process prolly. Russanon should do the same.

Problem is, he'll still be waging for the rest of his life. Unless a million bucks falls off the back of a truck, we all will (or, equally as lucky, you could get struck by lightning and crippled permanently in a way that disqualifies you from work).

Makes sense, thank you for this tip.
But my problem still there: I will have to work most of my life, and my life sucks. Not gonna write 2 page essay about it, pretty sure there's enough here. When I don't have college I play games 10am to 11pm just because I want to forget about real life and the future of "wake up, go to work, work, get home, sleep, repeat".
Call me a retard but this thought really makes me sad. Like that's it? That's the "gift of life"?

honestly i relate to you quite a bit, except i haven't gone to college and am currently a NEET
i cope by playing games and giving advice, but i hate myself alot and feel like a lazy coward
i'm afraid of ending up doing landscaping or warehouse work or joining the military

i think what helps is to imagine what sort of place in the world you would be happy with, what sort of people you want to be around, etc
figure out how to get by and make money separately
work on both at the same time, as two separate tasks, and hopefully they'll eventually converge

it's not like you're committed to either "work" or "play", though it might be that way for a while
