Discuss the most comforting shows

Used to watch a lot of British sitcoms and shows years ago, I liked those. But I'm not sure they were comforting. Is Buffy any good, haven't watched that one.

My favorite UK shows were - Peep Show, The Mighty Boosh, IT Crowd, Black Books, Snuff Box, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Spaced, Extras.

I also liked Charlie Brooks yearly wipe which was show at the end of the year, kind of a satirical analysis of what happened that year. He is the original creator of Black Mirror, then of course the Americans bought it and ruined it. First two seasons are kino tho.

Their panel shows were also funny. But Political Correctness absolutely ruined UK tv, it's a shell of it'self. Very sad.

Buffy peaked around seasons 3,4, and 5 but there's great episodes in all seasons. Be warned, early Buffy is a very different show to late Buffy.

I think the only one I hadn't seen is Spaced. All the others I have. All good, though I find IT Crowd overrated. Thoroughly enjoyed Black Books.

Dylan Moran is so underrated, his stand up it top notch, never gets mentioned tho. His first 3 specials are in my top 10 of all time.
I enjoyed Spaced, it's Simon Peggs first big thing he made, don't know if it holds up, although I watched it 15 years after it came out.
