Since 2 weeks ago, Windows 11 startup sound changed to Windows Vista startup sound

Is this a bug, is there some old Vista files still remaining in Windows 11 codebase?

Microsoft said they dont know what is happening. The hayve not changed Windows 11 startup sound into Vista in purpose.

The sound appeared only for Windows 11 beta testers who tested the current build, which is not widely available.

There are hundreds of thousands of willing beta testers of Windows.

i would switch to linux if drivers worked properly but its just ridiculous what i have to do for my laptop to even make 70% of the features work and then the battery still drains faster than on windows 11. I would forgive shitty graphical interfaces(besides kde plasma which is the same resource hog as windows 11) if drivers worked out of the box at least 70-80% fine.

Windows 11 allows you to have uncomposited borderless windowed games
Windows 11 gives you WSL2 shared host networking so if you're a wage cuck, you can have working WSL2 + shitty work VPN software.

How anyone defends the shitheap of windows 10 is beyond me. It's not good. Windows 7 was also shit. Windows 11 is shit, but at least it's an incremental improvement.

Any recommended W11 distro? I'm currently pondering switching to Linux on my next rig, the only thing holding me back is that some online games aren't compatible with Linux because of anticheat (lol), so I'll probably have to install W11 for gaming. In that case, the less telemetry and jank, the better.
