pretty much this. I have never received a scam phone call from China. If anything, the scammers in India are hurting the customer servce/tech bros from India because everyone just assumes it's a scam as soon as they hear that accent.

You would think that India would put a little effort into stopping scammers because it hurts their legit tech workers. More likely, they view both as equal income opportunities and go with it.

You niggas ever heard of the que? Its a hairstyle. Think like pulp western tong types, with fu Manchu moustaches and a long single braid.

That braid is the queue, or que (pronounced kew, cue). It was imposed on the Chinese by a foreign invader centuries ago. All males over a certain age had to have their hair cut and braided into a queue which they were not allowed to cut off. It was law. The penalty for cutting it off was death.

This shows you the level of terror and fear this regime inspired in the Chinese. They were so afraid that if they cut the que off that they would be found and punished for it that even a century later, a world and generations away from their oppressor they lived in fear. Lost in the sands of the American West, where no yellow men hold sway, they still would not cut off their que.
