I've watched a german video, linking it would be lame. Dude said they all drink bottled water, but the water without electrolytes and salt, despite everybody there being "rich" and constantly sick with symptoms stemming from that. Which was a real mask off moment for him. And that way also for me. Turns out money doesn't buy brains, even if your life depends on it.

i've done fasting for 3 days a few times, you have to maintain your electrolytes especially well when you're not eating

i'm guessing the desert heat would make the problem much worse

i guess so

the more water you drink, the more electrolytes you need to maintain a balance & avoid deficiency
that's why i think the heat would make it worse, people would be drinking water much more often than in colder places
