I would like to know the following about the flat earth idea. The biggest question is, if the earth is flat, what are the scientists at NASA doing? How do the powers that convince the world about the globe deceive these people that they literally believe they are sending robots to Mars?

1. The earth is most likely not flat.
2. If the earth is flat, elements of NASA are hiding it. You don't need everyone at NASA to be in on it, only enough people to keep the illusion alive. If you fake the results you could spend some of the money given for space research on faking space research, and use the rest for what you want.

The earth is not flat, and you can prove it yourself easily in 10 easy steps:

>Find a lake that is larger than 5 miles
>Get a boat
>Get a strong laser with a tripad that is stable
>Get a target (dartboard or whatever)
>Drive the boat out about 1 yard
>Point the laser at the target to calibrate it to the midpoint of the target
>Move 3 miles away from the target
>Try to adjust the laser only horizonally to hit the target again at the same point
>Notice how the laser is now not even close to hitting the target
