God created the universe by starting the Big Bang, but never interfered with it after that and chooses not to intervene. Instead he just watches everything that unfolds for entertainment. And then after the heat death of the universe God will create another universe with new parameters (laws of physics, etc.).
The afterlife is just floating around in spectator mode for eternity. There is no Heaven or Hell because God doesn't care about policing mortals or punishing/rewarding them, and also doesn't care whether someone worships or believes in him or not.

Or uhhh maybe here's a more interesting premise:
God didn't create the universe out of nothing, God had to become the universe and the big bang was his death as a conscious entity. God does not intervene because he cannot intervene. We are all fragments of God's consciousness and expressions of different aspects of his will. At the end of the universe, all of our consciousnesses will merge to become God who will remember the lived experiences of every single organism in the entire universe.
