Well /pol/, it's been real. A couple weeks ago I found a lump in my sack, turns out it's testicular cancer, and it's spread to lymph nodes in my chest. 32, unvaxxed.
Unlucky I guess.

There's about a 40% survival chance, so fuck this all, I'm gonna travel until I can't.

I won't lie, I only popped on here during the 2016 election, when times were rough during COVID, and the past year. Hardly an oldfag but this board did bring me joy at times.

I'll of course stay on to garner a little sympathy from this thread, but what a piece of news to learn during the week of July 4th.

That is seriously the best cancer for a man to get. It takes forever to spread or it doesn't spread.

40% isn't that bad, and if you're doing everything else right you're probably bumping that to 50-60%.

Do not give up. Freeze some sperm if you have to cut them both off. Cut the nut out, then cut lymph nodes out. A little chemo and radiation and you could easily beat it.

I'm 33 now. I'm not the most healthy but I'm 5 7 150 lbs. I had my right nut removed, it also spread into my lungs/chest. I went through 2 rounds of chemo, 1 more with stem cell therapy. The cancer is now all gone except for in my shitty lung (scan showed it was only doing 3% of the total work. They want to crack my chest open and remove that lung & hopefully I'll finally be done after 3ish years of this shit.
