Christianity, with its rigid dualisms (God and man, good and evil, will and grace) has long offered a vision of reality that is fatally fractured, propped up by the fragile scaffolding of a personal deity and a moralistic universe. It speaks to the ego, flatters it even, with its promises of eternal reward, personal salvation, and divine favor, but in doing so, it entrenches the very self-centeredness it claims to overcome. Buddhism, by contrast, offers no such consoling fictions. It asks us to die, not physically, but existentially, to dissolve the illusion of a separate self into the radical emptiness (śūnyatā) that underlies all things. Where Christianity clings to a personal God to preserve meaning, Buddhism embraces the void and finds in it the source of true compassion and liberation. The Christian God must speak, must command, must judge; but silence, in Buddhism, is the sound of the world as it is, unmediated by ego or dogma. In an age defined by nihilism, the idea of a cosmic Father watching over us feels not only outdated but obscene. The path forward is not a return to faith but a step beyond it, into the raw, impersonal, yet infinitely interconnected reality that Buddhism makes not only intelligible but livable.

To say Buddhism is greater than Christ is to be arrogant which is anti Buddhist. Also it's like saying that going to a physician for physical health problems is better than Christianity when Christianity has nothing to say about your physical body other than you will ultimately suffer and die like everyone else.

Buddhism is about taming your mind and self control which are good things that are part of the Holy Spirit, but those don't speak anything about your spirit and where it goes after you die or why it's important to have a world view around your spirit at all.

Christ gives you the freedom to find hope outside of some man made institution like monkery, monestaries, synagogues, temples, and popery. Your body becomes the temple and the purpose of that temple is for Christ to live in it.

Well, at least one rapture has already occurred. This planet is, in fact, the place that some people from Earth (such as myself) were raptured to. We weren't "taken to Heaven." We were brought here instead. We're now on a real, physical, 3D planet that is certainly NOT Earth.

Bottom line: This planet is Bozrah, not Earth. Furthermore, the event in which Jesus destroys this planet is called "the day of vengeance." There will be no 7-year Tribulation or Antichrist here—because this isn't Earth. Earth is roughly 75,000 light years from here (and is currently going through the Tribulation). This is just an impostor planet.

Make sure to read my pinned X thread (all four posts). And regarding my X bio, I am exactly who I say I am. Bozrah natives must break free from the spell they've been under. This entire situation has gotten so ridiculous. At this point, I'm just waiting for the day of vengeance.

Pinned X thread:

or

How long will you keep pretending this is Earth??? The time for pretending is over.

Christianity is merely a projection of human consciousness. It's a desire to have control over your circumstances where you idealize yourself as a collective god. Christianity is worshipping of the self.
Where you have people you have gods. If you take away the people the gods also go away.
If you don't realize this you are unenlightened and you don't know you are worshipping yourself or you like worshipping yourself.
Buddhism on the other hand transcends human folly and looks at the objective truth without the narcissism filter.

Buddhism and Christianity and Neoplatonism are all the same thing. They all teach the same lessons and have the exact same cosmological understanding of the world. Anyone who tries to play one upper games about which is better than the others is a fool who doesn't understand any of them. You're a fake Buddhist.

All of it is. Christianity teaches renunciation of the flesh and self for the sake of ascending to enlightenment through pure reason and contemplation. Buddhism says "self is an illusion" and Christianity says "you must die in the flesh so that you may live in Christ(Logos)", but both mean the exact same thing. There is an ultimate reality, and the way to be able to see that ultimate reality is to understand that all things are actually one and descend from a perfect unmade and formless unity.

That's the same thing. A divine tribunal would only be able to operate off of metaphysical laws, because otherwise they'd be arbitrary and in that case they'd be unjust. Which would make them by definition not divine, but human and fallible. Your idea of "divine tribunal" is just an allegorical personification of the metaphysical laws which are present in Neoplatonism, Buddhism and Christianity.

Also with a divine courtroom there is possibility that all your mistakes can be forgiven through mercy.

Which is what all three belief systems assert. None of them ever suggest that things are ever not well, because the entire foundation of theology as a whole is built on the idea that Being itself has a perfect first cause which ensures that all things must always be well.

>Also with a divine courtroom there is possibility that all your mistakes can be forgiven through mercy.
Which would be absolutely unjust, corrupt, evil and unholy. God would never make exceptions for anyone for any reason. The rules are the rules. They're perfectly fair, so to break them would be perfectly unfair.

This frees your spirit from your soul(consciousness) and in the divine courtroom all your mistakes can be forgiven through God's own suffering because of his love for his creation. There is nothing similar

That's not what Christianity teaches. You ought to read Augustine, Aquinas, Maximus the Confessor, Erasmus, Origen or any of the other scholars. Christianity teaches that the physical world is the lowest descension from the intelligible world, but that everything that happens in the physical world still occurs for the sake of goodness, through God's will. Meaning that the painful things that happen here are purposeful, this is medicine for your soul. Which is exactly what Neoplatonism and Buddhism teach.

>This frees your spirit from your soul(consciousness) and in the divine courtroom all your mistakes can be forgiven through God's own suffering
No, Christianity never teaches that. That's actually considered heresy by everyone other than certain batshit American branches of fake Christianity. The idea that you can simply be forgiven without actually learning how to correct your bad behavior is blasphemy.

I've read it. You haven't. What do you think it means to die in the flesh for the sake of living in Christ? It means learning how to suffer well, which is the same as overcoming suffering so that it troubles you no more. This is the single most repeated lesson in all of Christianity, that learning how to suffer gladly is the one and only way to heaven.

>2. Buddha doesn't say he is dying for your sins.
Neither does Christ, not literally. He died for our sins in the same sense that Socrates died for our sins. It was done for the sake of showing us how to die well, so that we can cleanse ourselves of evil.

>How can ones death clear the bad karma on someones else name?

The only way to reconcile Christianity's emphasis on salvation through faith with actual morality is to say that anyone who truly believes in Christ is incapable of doing horrible things, and anyone who does something truly horrible after professing faith in Christ was either lying or deluded about his faith.
Of course, small sins after conversion are no big deal, but to say a murderer can get into heaven for saying the magic words (I believe in Jesus), while a good man goes to hell because he does not believe in Jesus, is obviously immoral and wicked.

We have court rooms because in Heaven you will have a divine court room where all of your sins whether you knew they were sins or not will be revealed and you will be judged. Prison and death are just a light warning compared to God's wrath. If you have faith in the Gospel then all the sin is forgiven.

>anyone who truly believes in Christ is incapable of doing horrible thing
no.
>anyone who does something truly horrible after professing faith in Christ was either lying or deluded about his faith
you come to christ BECAUSE you are a sinner and admitted to sin.

>small sins after conversion are no big deal,
no, all sins are a death penalty in heaven.

>good man goes to hell because he does not believe in Jesus, is obviously immoral and wicked.
there is no good man, no not one.

Your way of looking at it makes the person great because of his works, not because it makes God glorified.

Sakyamuni's religion deteriorated according to the Three Laws of uncertainty. Don't try to change people who cannot be changed, like type 4 Lotus. or underwater lotus Teach those who can teach. You must have accumulated merit to a certain level to be able to see the Buddha's Dhamma.

Buddhism: an offshoot of Hinduism. Hinduism is just a really poor attempt at justifying the caste system, with no historical evidence, no canon, and obviously bullshit beliefs that makes Greek and Roman gods sound believable by comparison. How anyone could feel enlightenment from such asinine inane teaching is beyond me.
